Sensor Mounting Locations: 

This sensor can be used in 3 different locations in the exhaust system of the 6.4L Powerstroke trucks.

Location 1: Before the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) - In the bung on the pipe closest to the downpipe connecting flange, toward the front of the truck.

Location 2:  After the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) - In the bung on the larger housing just before the DPF Mounting flange, toward the rear of the truck. 

Location 3: After the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) - In the bung on the pipe after the DPF, next to the exhaust hanger, toward the rear of the truck.
