How HP Tuners Credits Work

Auto Diesel Systems uses HP Tuners' credit-based licensing system to unlock your vehicle's tuning potential. Credits act as currency to purchase licenses for the different control modules in your vehicle—such as the ECM (Engine Control Module) and TCM (Transmission Control Module).

What does licensing do? Licensing a module gives you the ability to read, modify, and write custom tuning files to that specific module. Once licensed, that module is unlocked for tuning on your vehicle.

How many credits do I need? The number of credits required varies depending on your vehicle's year, make, model, and which modules you want to tune:

• ECM Only: Typically 2 credits
• ECM + TCM: Typically 4 credits
• Specific vehicles: Some platforms may require different credit amounts

Important: Credits are vehicle-specific and tied to your VIN once used. Make sure you know which modules you need to tune before purchasing credits.
