The Bosch CP4.2 high-pressure pump is the Achilles heel of the LML Duramax — notorious for high failure rates and taking out the entire high-pressure fuel system (injectors, rails, and lines) when it goes. S&S Diesel Motorsport®, the world leader in common-rail diesel injection, eliminates the problem before it becomes one by replacing the CP4.2 with a bulletproof Bosch CP3 high-pressure fuel pump.
This is the first CARB-compliant (EO #D-756-4) 50-state CP3 conversion available for the LML Duramax. No tuning required, and all factory emissions control equipment is retained.
