Important: Installation of this kit on a cab and chassis may require modifications. Drop-In Fuel Systems are a plug-and-play filtration upgrade and are not compatible with our Fuel Sump Kit. No additional items are needed for installation. This plug-and-play filtration system retains the OEM in-tank fuel pump. This kit is designed for both crew cab short and long bed trucks. The Drop-In Series for the L5P Duramax may not work with aftermarket oversized fuel tanks due to mounting space restrictions.

FAQ

Will the Drop-In Series System for the L5P Create Excessive Back Pressure on the Lift Pump?
In short, no! Through extensive engineering and testing, the FASS R&D team was able to decrease pressure drop (differential pressure) approximately 1 PSI from the OEM filtration system. This was accomplished by maximizing the internal porting size to allow a system that flows more freely in addition to adding superior filtration.

Why Does the Drop-In Series for the L5P Utilize an OEM Water Separator?
We utilize the OEM water separator due to the design of the OEM water in fuel sensor/fuel heater. We are the only Drop-In style system that allows the water in the fuel sensor to properly function as they must be on the DIRTY SIDE of the water separator element to detect the water before it makes it to the clean side.
