Revmax Signature Series Allison 10L1000 Transmission
The Allison 10L1000 represents a complete redesign from the ground up—developed jointly by Allison/GM and Ford. This 10-speed transmission features a compact, barrel-loaded design with all clutches housed in internal aluminum barrels, making it extremely lightweight for its size.
Key Upgrades:
- Enhanced Clutch Capacity: C, E, and F clutches upgraded from 5 to 6 plates (19% more capacity) using custom machined pistons and proprietary steel/friction setups
- ZeroFlex Billet E Clutch Hub (Patent Pending) - Solves the common aluminum spline failure issue
- A, B, and D clutch packs rebuilt to factory specs with all new clutches and steels
- Fully overhauled valve body
- Stage 5 Billet Triple Disc Torque Converter included
Build Process:
- Complete disassembly and inspection of all components
- 190° hot wash tank cleaning for casings and housings
- Thorough casing inspection for cracks or damage
- Full hydraulic and performance testing
Warranty: 2-year unlimited mileage (50k miles for commercial applications)
Why This Transmission Needed Upgrades:
The 10L1000's extensive use of lightweight aluminum creates unique challenges. The factory E clutch hub (aluminum, splined to mainshaft) is prone to stripping, and the backwards-designed E and F clutch setups cause excessive wear. Our upgrades address these critical weak points with over a year of R&D and testing.
