Direct Replacement Installation

S&B's 62-gallon fuel tank directly replaces the OEM 26-gallon tank without any cutting, drilling, or special modifications, making for a trouble-free, faster installation process. With 10 more gallons of capacity than competitor tanks, you'll save time, go further, and get more out of your truck.

Aftermarket Lift Pump Ready

This tank features a built-in sump designed for aftermarket lift pump installation, if desired. S&B recommends aftermarket lift pumps be installed according to the pump manufacturer's instructions only. Please note that the S&B sump will not cure typical "1/4 tank issues" common with aftermarket lift pumps. S&B sump fittings are required to prevent leaking.

Premium OEM-Style Sending Unit Included

Each tank includes a premium OEM-style sending unit for reliable fuel level monitoring.

Important Fuel Gauge Operation Notes:

• The distance to empty (DTE) on GM trucks cannot be reprogrammed, so it will display approximately half the actual remaining mileage. This occurs with all aftermarket high-capacity fuel tanks.
• The bottom of the S&B tank has more surface area than the OE tank, resulting in a greater fuel reserve when the low fuel indicator activates.
• High-flow fuel station nozzles (truck stops) will not be able to fill automatically.

Fitment: This fuel tank fits 2001-2004 LB7 trucks only. For 2004.5-up trucks with LLY, LBZ, and LMM engines, use part # 10-1006.
